Use WASD or arrow keys on desktop. On mobile, use a short swipe to move one tile; hold after the first step to keep moving. The keypad is only a backup. Tiles collapse after you leave them. Power-ups: Preview shows the route, Freeze stops the fall, and Shield rescues you once. Endless Mode can use stocked power-ups without a use limit.
